FIRST GRADE COMMUNITY SUPPLIES


•    A school box  in Allen’s class only
•    A pack of  24 sharpened pencils
•    Small box of color crayons and colored pencils
•    Composition journal-Writer’s notebook
•    An eraser
•    Round-end scissors (no points)
•    12 Elmer’s glue sticks
•    Backpack or school bag (no wheels)
•    Pair of tennis shoes (for Phy. Ed.)
•    2 pocket folders for important papers
•    A spiral bound, lined notebook to be used as a math journal
•    Washable markers- broad line tip and skinny tip

Items to share with the class (if possible):
•    A large box of tissues
•    Ziploc quart, gallon, and sandwich bags
•    Bottle of hand sanitizer
•    Post-it notes, all sizes and colors
•    A variety of  sharpies
•    Clorox disinfecting wipes

First Grade Wish List
•    White board markers
•    Ream of bold colored copy paper

SECOND GRADE COMMUNITY SUPPLIES

Pencils, pencil sharpeners, glue sticks, sharpies, dry erase markers, Kleenex, and disinfecting wipes will be collected for community use. Please do NOT label these items with your child’s name.
Necessary Supplies: AKA Must-haves
•    4 dozen sharpened pencils – higher quality = longer lasting
•    1 pair pointed scissors
•    2 jumbo extra-strength Elmer’s glue sticks
•    2 Ultra-fine black Sharpie markers
•    5 sturdy, 2-pocket folders (no 3 ring binders)
•    1 large eraser (the white ones work best)
•    2 Mead Composition notebooks
•    1 box of 24 colored pencils
•    1 dry erase marker
•    1 SMALL container to hold scissors, colored pencils, and eraser
•    2 personal size pencil sharpeners with shavings holders
•    1 water color paint set
•    1 large box of Kleenex
•    1 pack of white, lined 4x6 index cards for note taking
•    1 container of disinfecting wipes

Pocket Folders: 6  (One each for writing, social studies, math, and science; two for reading)

Spiral Notebooks: 5 (One each for writing, social studies, and science; two for reading-
1 quadrille notebook for math( squared paper) These can be found in Office Max or Walmart

Looseleaf paper: one package to start off the year
Notecards:  2 packages of 3 x 5 lined

Suggestion:
1 locker shelf to help with locker storage. Two classrooms have tables and not desks. 

Students will be REQUIRED to use a planner.  The cost of the planner is $5.00


JUNIOR HIGH SUPPLY LIST

- two 3”  three-ring binders, one for the morning classes, one for the afternoon classes
- one  3-hole punched pocket folder for each class or an expandable file
- a 3-hole punched notebook for each class
- loose leaf paper
- a three-hole punched pencil case
- a scientific calculator – cost is about $12 (graphing calculator is optional)
- #2 pencils
- correcting pens
- two boxes of Kleenex to be brought to the home base teacher

7th Grade science students need a composition book (3-hole punched)
7th Grade English students need Hardcover composition notebook, spiral notebook, pen/pencil
 8th Grade science students need a composition book, not a spiral notebook

Optional but Strongly Recommended

- graph paper (1/4” recommended)

- French or Spanish pocket-sized dictionary - used is fine

- a flash drive (1 or 2 gigs) – cost is between $10 - $15

- a box of Kleenex for each classroom teacher



Junior High Information



•    Student backpacks are not allowed in classrooms; please make sure the backpack will be able to fit in your locker.
•    Locks will be provided for Jr. High hallway lockers.
•    Organizational Tips- please visit our table at Open House.
•    Physical and Immunizations must be up to date in order to participate in sports.
