My dog Sam and I in the Boundry Waters
I am very excited to begin this school year.  This is my 16th year at Capitol Hill.  I spent the first 8 of them teaching 1-6th grade, and have been in the junior high for the past 8 years.

I have my National Board Certification in Art, and am returning to school next year to get my Master's degree in Reading. In addition to my teaching duties I maintain the website for school and help the students create the yearbook.

When I'm not at school I enjoying spending time at my cabin in northern Minnesota, reading, quilting, taking and developing black and white photographs, and spending time with my family.

Please visit this sight often for updates on what is going on in our classroom.  Students will be adding updates weekly.
