Dear Parents,

The emphasis of this course will be in the actual process skills of
science. Students will be exposed to the content areas of Life Science while using and developing the skills of a Life scientist - laboratory,research/reference, technical writing, and mathematics/technology.

The text can be viewed as a supplement to the classroom
activities and will be used largely for homework. Homework will be
given Monday - Thursday evenings from the text.

Class time will be approximately 60% laboratory activities.

Grading is based on a percentage of the total points which are offered:

A: 100 - 90%
B: 89 - 80%
C: 79 - 70%
D: 69 - 60%
N: 59 - 00%
