Volunteer Commitments
The Chess Club relies solely on volunteers to provide a fun, safe, learning environment for students. Many volunteers are needed for breakout chess lessons or in-school chess tournaments. If we fail to recruit an adequate number of volunteers, we may be forced to limit the number of club members or cut back on the number of club meetings. Ideally, each parent/guardian will volunteer and attend 5 (or more) meetings this year. PLEASE VOLUNTEER!
After registration, we will contact parents to set up a volunteer schedule for the year. (Note: Volunteers may bring younger children if necessary).
