It is hard to believe that this is the last week of school! Every year seems to go faster than the previous one. On Tuesday we have The Godscars (academy awards for the Greek gods) in the afternoon. Your children should wear the same costume they wore for the fashion show. There was a final test for Greek mythology. An essay question asking "Who is one of your heroes?" was on the test. Ask your child about their choice. Many children chose a parent as their hero and the answers were quite sweet. On Thursday we are going to Valley Fair. Students have 3 options for their return time from Valley Fair. The first is to return to Capitol Hill by the end of the regular school day and take the school bus home as they usually do. The second option is to take the late bus from Valley Fair and parents are responsible for picking up their children at 7:00 p.m. at Capitol Hill. The third option is for parents to meet their children at Valley Fair and stay as late as they like. Permission slips and $20.00 should have already been turned in. Students who choose not to go to Valley Fair will be assigned to a lower elementary classroom.
