 | | Band 6 | | Band 6 is for 6th graders who have previous experience playing their
instrument. It meets twice a week, once as a small ensemble and once as a large ensemble. Students in Band 6 will have a curriculum of further development of basic
fundamentals, using the Accent on Achievement, Books 1 and 2 and
appropriate band music. These students will be combined with the
Museum Magnet students in 6th grade. Combined, they will perform a few
concerts a year.
Their schedule is: Tuesdays, Capitol Hill Brass and Woodwinds 6 11:00-11:40
Wednesdays, Full 6th Grade Band 11:40-12:30
Thursdays, Capitol Hill Percussion 6 11:00-11:40
