 | | All About Me | | My name is Marcella Simmonds. I was born and raised in the Virgin Islands which are in the Caribbean. I came to sunny Minnesota in 1983 to further my education. I attended Bethel College, now Bethel University, and obtained a BA in Elem Ed in 1987. I went on to earn my MA in Curriculum and Instruction from St.Thomas University in 1995. I am currently furthering my studies at the University of Minnesota.
I have been with the the gifted program since 1989. I taught 5th grade for one year and have been teaching sixth grade since. I enjoy working with this age group.
Dancing, reading, traveling and hanging out with my family are some of the things I really enjoy doing. I am also the mother of a teenager.
